Grover Nixon

Grover Nixon has been a member of our part-time staff since 1989.

He was first associated with our firm from 1948-1954, when he entered the U. S. Army, and held an Assistant Funeral Directors License. Upon completion of his military service, Grover was a physical therapist at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salem for 32 years.

A Christiansburg native, he has been married to the former Opal Testerman for 50 years. They have one daughter, Lisa and three grandsons.

Grover is a dedicated Christian and is an active member of the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren.

He is a Life Member of the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, having served as an active member for 19 years.
