Maurice Smith

Maurice Smith has been a member of our part-time staff since he retired from Radford University in 2001.

A native of Floyd County he was married to the former June Gardner for 48 years.

Maurice is a longtime member of the Christiansburg Lions Club and served as an active member of the Christiansburg Rescue Squad for 13 years before receiving Life membership.

Maurice is active in Senior Citizens affairs, a member of Park United Methodist Church and is a proud grandfather.
