Calvin Jones

JONES, CALVIN R., age 77, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at his home in Christiansburg surrounded by his family.

He was a member of the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren; a retired employee of First National Bank and Weiman Upholstery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Blake and Elizabeth C. Jones. Survivors include his wife, Doris J. Jones; children, Wanda & Richard Basham; Brenda & Mark Vaught; step children, Wanda & Ward Angle; Dwayne Bishop; grandchildren, Amy & Jay Kyle; Jason & Pam Basham; Justin Vaught, Emily Vaught; step grandchildren, Trey Angle and Caitlin Angle; great grandchildren, Marshall Basham and Hayden Kyle; sister, Anna Lee Lawrence; and beloved pets, Winston and Sweet Pea.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 31st at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 1 at the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren with Pastor Don Peters officiating.
