WHITLOCK, ALOMA EDMONDS, age 60, of Pilot passed away suddenly Thursday, March 20, 2008 at New River Valley Medical Center.
The daughter of the late Hubert and Edith Lawson, she is survived by her husband, Lewis Daniel “Danny” Whitlock; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise Ellett-Goad and husband, Thomas, Shelly Shockley and husband, Steve, all of Christiansburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Mildred Lawson, Charlotte Lawrence and husband, Clay, Wanda Edmonds; brothers and sisters-in-law, Garnett and Bobbi Edmonds, Lewis “Matthew” and Sibel Edmonds; step-children, Danny Whitlock, Jr. Missy Whitlock and Billy Whitlock; fifteen grandchildren, one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Friday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bob Hendrickson officiating, interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
