Alton Frank Correll, 85, of Blacksburg, (formerly Concord NC) went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 28, 2018.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the trucking industry after over 45 years of service. He was awarded many safety and service awards. His love for trucking led him to become an avid collector of miniature trucks and company patches, each totaling in the hundreds.
He loved his Lord and attended church faithfully. He taught Sunday School, was a deacon and sang in the choir. He currently attended church at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
Special thanks to Dr. Danish and the second floor nurses at Lewis Gale Montgomery for their wonderful care and concern.
Frank was preceded in death by his second wife, Eva S. Correll; third wife, Doris T. Correll; parents, Alton and Gracie Correll; and brother, Arnold Correll.
