Alvin Richard Graham, 77, of Christiansburg passed away March 24, 2017. He was a proud Army Ranger in the 101st Airborne Division from 1962 to 1964. Richard is one of the co-founders of G&H Appliance in Christiansburg. He was also a member of the Christiansburg American Legion. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mary Graham; daughter, Letha Graham; grandson, Tyler Carr and brother, Lloyd Graham. He is survived by son, Ronald Graham and Mary; step-children, Thaddus Bartley, Peggy Vaught and Jerry Bartley; loving companion, Barbara Hensley; grandchildren, Brandon Bishop and Sara Carr; great grandchildren, Hannah, Landon and Carley; sister, Dorothy Hollandsworth; brother, James Graham; special family friends, Mike Fox and Robert and Janice Simpkins; and many nieces, nephews and his special family at G&H Appliance. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 30 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
