Angie Sue Hollins

In loving memory of our beloved Angie, life partner, daughter, sister, and friend. Angie Sue Hollins, 37, of Christiansburg, born on September 26, 1977, passed away on January 18, 2015, at Lewis-Gale Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Della Hollins; and her grandfather, John Lester.

She is survived by her parents, Tommy and Janie Hollins; grandmother, Katie Lester; lifetime partner, Daniel Bailey; sister, Wanda Hollins; brother, Mark Hollins; special nephew, Joshua Miller; lifetime friend, Becky Linkous, all of Christiansburg; as well as special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Cancer may have touched her at such a young age, but God has claimed her soul.

Angie worked at MCPS, for 20 years. She was a bus aide and took care of our challenged children with the greatest empathy, compassion, and tender love. So many lives are forever touched by her heart of gold.

Special thank you to Julie, Deidra, and the Medi Home Health team, as well as the doctors and nurses at Lewis Gale-Montgomery for their loving care of Angie.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will commence at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Rev. Ken Farrar officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
