Annie Boon

BOON, ANNIE McPEAK, age 86, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006 at New River Valley Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wilson Boon, Sr. and a son, Roger Wilson Boon, Jr. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Robert Morris, Dublin, VA, Ellen and Ernie Kennedy, Kernersville, NC; grandchildren, David Ray Morris, Timothy Scott Boon, Jeffrey Scott Kennedy and wife, Erin, Michael Todd Kennedy and wife, Kimberly; great grandchildren, Madison Kennedy, Brandon Kennedy, Destiny Ann Boon and Rhinia Skye Boon; a brother, Raymond McPeak, Radford, VA; caregiver, Pat Duncan and special neighbors, Terry and Ed Wilson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Sunday evening at the Horne Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, in the Horne Funeral Chapel with Mr. C.E. Mannon and Mr. Larry Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Boon family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, VA (382-2612)
