DALTON, ANNIE WOOD, 76, of Radford, formerly of Floyd, VA, passed away Tuesday, August, 26, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
The daughter of the late Clarence and Cynthia Wood, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Kent Wood, Harold Wood and a sister, Ruth Weeks.
Surviving are one sister, Lydia Carden; children, Danny Burke, Riner, VA, Diane Yates, Check, VA, David Dalton, Riner, VA Tracy Newman, Christiansburg, VA, Mark Dalton, of Floyd, VA, Greg and Sherry Dalton of Radford; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the dedicated caregivers and family that took care of mom, (Annie) In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the American Lung Association . A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
