Arold Kingrea

KINGREA, AROLD SHERWOOD (Johnny), age 70, of Pilot, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born November 28, 1936 in Montgomery County the son of the late Dewey S. and Emma Winfrey Kingrea. He was a member of the Union Valley Lighthouse Family Ministries.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katie D. Kingrea, of Pilot; son and daughter-in-law, James (Jimmy) & Susan L. Kingrea; daughter, Connie M. Kingrea; three grandchildren, Jessica D. Kingrea, A. J. M. Akers and William S. Akers; one brother, Albert Kingrea; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel & John Frazier; Annie & Cecil Hatcher.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at the Light House Family Ministries on Union Valley Road with Rev. Buford Linkous and Rev. Steve Akers officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their thanks to Carilion New River Valley Hospice and a very special thank you to ?Doc? Venus Bigham. Johnny will always be loved and missed by family and friends.
