NORWOOD, ARTHUR WILLIAM JR., 44, of Christiansburg passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2005.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur William Norwood, Sr. and his brother, Charles Osborne. He is survived by his mother, and as he said "my best friend", Sylvia Norwood; his two children, Arthur Grant Norwood and William Pierce Norwood; his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Byron and Jessie Osborne, Tom and Connie Norwood, and Dennis and Rita Norwood; and sister and brother-in-law, Susan and John Riffle. Art was born July 27, 1960. He brought to his family and friends an incredible wit, a huge sense of humor and an even bigger heart. His laugh was contagious and his smile filled the room with light.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18th, at Horne Funeral Service. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 19th in the Horne Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Blacksburg Rescue Squad and/or Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
