NUNLEY, AUDREY KESTERSON BAIN, age 73, of Christiansburg, was called home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, November 29, 2005.
She was a retired employee of Donnkenny, Inc. after 32 years of service and a faithful member of the Bain Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy William and Ethel May Mills Kesterson; her spouses, Clifford A. Bain and Johnnie E. Nunley.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children and their spouses, Clifford Dale & Barbara Bain, Radford; Teresa B. Sheppard Hurt & Bobby Hurt, of Radford; Shenna B. Thomas Viers & Brent Viers of Radford; Jennifer B. Crawford-Spangler & Scott Spangler of Radford; step children, Marvin & Betty Nunley of Christiansburg; Marlene Jackson, Christiansburg; Drema N. & C. L. Bishop, Christiansburg; grandchildren, step-grandchildren and spouses, Chancey R. & Laurie Sheppard, Chelsea S. & Matthew Phipps, Kayla R. Thomas, Heaven L. Thomas, Carley S. Viers, Chaz D. Crawford, Jacob S. Spangler, Mikey Cressell, Kenny Hurt, Robert Hurt, Robin Hurt, Larry L. Thomas, Jr., J. T. Thomas, Travis Thomas, Heather Viers, Ashley Viers, Brian Keith, Kevin Bishop, Missy Aguon, Megan Gillenwater and Tate Nunley; 9 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; special friend and companion, Eddie B. Walters.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, Dec. 1, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2005 at the Bain Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Radford with Rev. Phillip Martin, Rev. Steve Board, Rev. Jim Walker, and Rev. T. Michael Bond, officiating. Interment will follow in the Bain Family Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Radford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, her faithful friends, Raymond Akers and Doug Franklin, Sr., Dr. Abel and the nurses and other emergency room staff of Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. The Nunley Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
