Barbara June Criner

Barbara J. Criner, 66, of Salem, formerly of Blacksburg, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, William W. and June C. Sawyers; brother, William W. Sawyers; and son, Terry Lynn Miles.

Barbara is survived by her son, Louis and Sherry Miles; daughter, Milinda and Harold Huff; grandchildren, Amanda Martin, William Huff and fiancée Katlin Bowels, Amber Huff, Brooke Miles, Christopher Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Adilyn and Micah; sisters, Linda Gilmore, Toni Collins and husband Marvin; as well as niece and nephews, Karen Barber, Michael and Mathew Price.

Barbara’s family would like to thank Nurses Chandler and Jessica at Carilion Roanoke Memorial and Jacob at Richfield Rehab for their care of her.

The Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Cameron Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
