Barbara Lou Crowder, passed away peacefully in her Blacksburg home on Sunday March 26, 2023 at the age of 85.
Predeceased by Mckinley Crowder, loving husband of 55 years, David Crowder, son, three brothers, and one sister.
Lovingly remembered by, her sister Lula and husband John Collins, Daughter Deborah Crowder, Daughter Patricia Foley, Grandchildren April Crowder, April Shepard and Husband, Heather Williams and husband, David Crowder, and six great grandchildren.
Barbara retired from the DMV of 15 years; she spent her time planting flowers in her garden, antique shopping with her sister, and spending quality time with her family.
Visitation will be held at Horne Funeral Home Wednesday March 29th, 2023 at 10:00 am.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
