Barbara Greenway Culverhouse

Barbara Greenway Culverhouse, 44, of Christiansburg, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 1, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Greenway; and granddaughter, Sadie Culverhouse. She is survived by her loving husband, Shawn Culverhose; children, Zach Yopp, Brandon Yopp (Desi), Destiny Culverhouse; step-children, Joey Culverhouse (Demi), Devin Culverhouse (Abigail), Fayth Culverhouse; mother, June Greenway; sister, Mary Alley (Raymond); grandchildren, David, Brendon, Lindsey, Blake, Levi, and Brooklyn; special friends, Beth Scott and Amanda Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Barbara had such a compassionate heart, she was always there for those that needed her for anything. Everyone knew her favorite thing was Snoopy. She was an avid collector of any type of Snoopy items. She loved Vanilla Fields, camping with her husband and family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Heaven’s gain is our loss. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Chapel, with Rev. Jason Cook officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
