Barbara Ann Sutphin

Barbara Ann Sutphin, 67, passed away on July 3, 2016, at her home in Pilot, Virginia.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, John Cox; brother, Douglas Cox; mother-in-law, Elsie Sutphin; and brothers-in-law, Ronnie Graham and R.G. Bostic. She is survived by her husband, Barry Sutphin; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Bradley Morris; mother, Mary Cox; sister, Rosemary Graham; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Gary Kinsley; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Alice Cox; father-in-law, Ward Sutphin; sister-in-law, Regina Young and husband Allen; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Ronald and Lois Underwood; as well as numerous other friends and family.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Harry McCoy and his staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Care Center, the staff who took care of Barbara at Lewis Gale Montgomery, the MBT Club from Huffville United Methodist Church for all the love and kindness shown to her.

The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Darren Landon and Pastor Bill Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, VA.
