EANES, BERNICE LUCILLE CLOWER, age 85, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, August 22 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harless Eanes. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Peggy Kelley; son and daughter-in-law, Harold & Rincey Eanes; grandchildren, Cynthia Eanes, William & Cindy Eanes, Joey & Heather Dayton; great grandchildren Christian and Makayla Eanes; Jenna and Trevor Dayton; sister, Gladys Martin; sisters-in-law, Marie Clower, Ivy Eanes and Mildred Lane; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 176, Christiansburg, VA 24068. The Eanes Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
