Bobby C. Handy

Bobby C. Handy, 73, of Shawsville, passed away on May 29, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris Carter Handy and James Lundy Handy; brothers, James Carson Handy and Arvel L. Handy.

Bobby is survived by his life partner, Gayle Hall; daughters, Dawn Wingo (Jeff), Deana Linkous (Rodney); grandchildren, Lauren and John Wingo, Kaitlyn, Kesley, and Wesley Linkous; brothers, Hiram Lee ‘Jeff’ Handy, Roger Handy (Anna); sisters, Jo Ann Linkous, Dodie Herndon, Wanda Handy, Katie Handy, Dinah Handy Hall (Larry); step-daughter, Melissa Hall Good (Russ); grandchildren of life partner, Griffin and Cameron; as well as extended family and friends here and in the states of DE, MD, and NC.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 4, 2017, from 12-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with interment to follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
