Bobby Earl Linkous, 72, of Radford, VA, passed away on November 28, 2011.
He was born on November 6, 1939.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Louise & Pete Linkous; and a brother, Kelly Linkous.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Linkous; sons, Jeff Linkous & wife, Mary, and Brian Linkous & wife, Jennifer; stepson, Mark Witt & wife, Gwynne; stepdaughter Leigh Ann Caudell & husband, Shawn; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother, Ross Linkous & wife, Shirley; a sister, Darlene & husband, Rev. Everett Shepherd.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, from 5-8 pm at the Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 11 am at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Everett Shepherd and Rev. Rodney Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Bobby to the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Road, #115, Roanoke, VA 24018.
