Bobby Ray Nunley, 68, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Nunley. He is survived by his daughters, Mikel Bracken and Rebecca Moon; mother, Ethel Nunley of Radford; 3 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Linda Nunley of Christiansburg, Johnny Nunley of Brazil, Brenda Kittinger of Riner, and Ronnie Nunley of Christiansburg; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bobby proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour of duty in Okanawa, Japan.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 2, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 11 a.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, with Pastor Johnny Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in the SW Virginia Veterans’ Cemetery, Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Horne Funeral Home, 1300 N. Franklin Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073, to help offset funeral expenses.
