Bridget Marie Alderman

Bridget Marie Alderman, 27, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in Louisville, KY. She was born May 11, 1992 in Elliston, VA. Bridget was a 2010 graduate of Christiansburg High School.

Bridget was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Joan and LTG(R) James E. Moore Jr. She is survived by her parents Mary M. and Christopher G. Alderman and her brother, Joshua G. Alderman. Paternal grandparents: Phyllis and Earl Alderman. Aunts and uncles: Lori and Rodney Dearing, Beth and Wayne Chiusano, Sue and Dan Davis, Dyah and Jim Moore, Colleen and Rob Moore, Karol and Mike Moore and Tizi and Matt Moore. Cousins: Colin Clark, Carly Villarreal, Rachel Davis, Corbin Dearing, Cailynn Redmond, Hannah Davis, Bryan Moore, Sean Moore, Erin Moore, Jimmy Moore, Kirana Moore, Ella Moore, and Keegan Moore.

Bridget was an intelligent, compassionate, thoughtful, extremely talented, and beautiful young woman. Bridget is remembered for her infectious giggle, her love of telling funny stories and making people laugh. Bridget loved fashion and enjoyed dressing up as well as finding the perfect accessory to match an outfit. She was just as comfortable in a beautiful gown as she was digging in the dirt. Bridget had endless energy which was shown in her non-stop talking and her athletic endeavors; clogging, cheerleading and soccer. Bridget was a talented artist. Her photographs, artwork and pottery were a true expression of her love of nature, her family, her pets and her whimsical and creative mind. Bridget loved the beach, mountains, her mom’s mac & cheese and her dad’s mashed potatoes.

Bridget’s family is thankful to Anthony Becampis for providing her with the peace, love and happiness for which she has always yearned.

Rest In Peace sweet Bridget, our little “Tinker Bell!” Until we meet again in heaven, you will be forever in our hearts and minds!

Please join us for the Celebration of Bridget’s life at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, VA on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bridget’s name can be made to Horne Funeral Home or Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
