Bruno Vincent Longhi 79, of Christiansburg Va. passed away at home surrounded by his family, Thursday April 18, 2019. He took his heavenly fight to spend Easter with Jesus. He was a construction engineer with ABB Engineering after retiring he joined his wife in her business C & K Wholesale where they sell Turman wood pallets and breeding the beloved golden retrievers. He was also a member of Auburn Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Florence Longhi and son, Todd Longhi. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Carol Trail Bishop; daughters, Dawn Longhi, Whitney Longhi, Ann Durham and husband Dean; son, Kevin Bishop and wife Deann; brother, Bill Longhi and wife Judy; grandchildren, Destiny Bishop, Tyler Longhi, Devin Durham, Lacey Bishop, Grace Bishop, Brandon Longhi, Jared Houseman, Jaden Houseman-Bishop; great-grandchild, Deleah Weddle; sister-in-law, Connie Hollandsworth, brother-in-law, Barry Trail and wife Barbara and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Charles Judy and Intrepid Hospice. There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Auburn Baptist Church. Ministers Shake Smith, Josh Blankenship and Joann Menfee will be officiating the service. The family invites all who attend the Memorial Service to honor Bruno by wearing blue jeans or denim.
