Byron Ellsworth Teele, 68, of Christiansburg, VA formerly of Queens, New York, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019.
Born on December 18, 1950, he was preceded in death by his father, Peter H. Teele, and brother, John. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Franklin-Teele; his mother, Lois Carter Teele; brothers, Anthony Teele (Connie) and Stephen Teele (Isra); aunts, Frances Hayes and Francella Press; uncle, Dr. James Teele (Ann); good friends, Garner Mahan (Emily), Mary Cabbell, Susan Helbert; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Byron was an avid tennis fan and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
There will be a memorial service when there is warmer weather.
