Carless Lynwood Flinchum

Carless Lynwood Flinchum, 70, of Hiwassee, passed away to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman Flinchum and Nita Simpkins Flinchum.

Lynwood is survived by his wife, Mary Flinchum; children, Carol and Dana D. Long, Jake and Hope Flinchum, Danny and Becky Flinchum; grandchildren, Christopher Long, Kenneth Long, Billy Long, Cody Flinchum; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Cory Long; brothers, Marzell and Judy Flinchum, Andrew Flinchum, Carlos Flinchum, Jessie and Linda Flinchum; sister, Evelene Flinchum; as well as lots of friends and other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 28, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Snowville Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Snowville Baptist Church, with Pastor Neil Wood and Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Simpkins Family Cemetery.
