Carolyn Ruth Bartee, 73, of Christiansburg, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Bartee; parents, John C. and Clola Breckenridge; and a sister, Patricia Bay. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey and wife Ann Bartee, and John Bartee; granddaughter, Emily Bartee; siblings, John Breckenridge and Shirley Lee; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. We love you and will miss you dearly.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Charles DeHart officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Carolyn’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106-A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
