Carolyn McArthur Painter
August 3, 1942 — April 9, 2015
Carolyn McArthur Painter, beloved piano teacher, age 72, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 9, 2015, after her battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Wade Painter.
Survivors are her daughter, Elaine Link; grandchildren, T.W. Link, Dakota (Kayla) Link, Sierra Link; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Rebecca (Bob) McArthur Cox; nephew, Michael (Connie) Cox; niece, Melissa (Dave) Cox Kunde; as well as 4 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at GraceLife Baptist Church in Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Horne Funeral Home to help with expenses.
