EVANS, CECIL J. (BUSTER), age 56, of Vinton, VA passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2005. Cecil was born in Christiansburg, VA on August 3, 1948.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Clarence Evans. He is survived by his mother, Ruby S. Bell of Shawsville, VA; his loving wife of 33 years, Barbara L. Evans; son, James R. Young of Vinton, VA; daughter, Charlene R. Evans of Roanoke, VA; daughter and special son-in-law, Ruby & Scott Dalton, their children & ?Cherished Grandchildren?, Michele LaCasse and Autumn Dalton of Vinton, VA; brother and sister-in-law, Steve & K. J. Bell of Riner, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca & Everett Cales of Shawsville and many other loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10th at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Virgil McHone officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, any donations toward funeral expenses will be greatly appreciated, c/o Ruby S. Bell, P. O. Box 73; Shawsville, VA 24162. The Evans Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg (382-2612).
