Cecil “Buster” Farrow, age 55, of Blacksburg, passed away at his home on Friday, October 25, 2013.
He was born in Pulaski County on August 12, 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents, Latiney Carlisle and Mollie Lorraine Farrow; and brother, James Farrow, all of Montgomery County. He is survived by his two sons, Cecil “Tony” and Ralph Miller of Allisonia, VA; daughter, Cosha Calloway (Jerrod) of SC; three sisters, Shirley Farrow Sherman of Columbus, OH, Susie Bergsten (Kelvin) of Blacksburg, VA, Donna Farrow of Columbus, OH; three grandsons; two granddaughters, of Pulaski County and SC; one nephew; four nieces; four great-nephews; five great-nieces; and a host of other loved ones and friends.
Buster was kind, loving, and an exceptionally generous man to everyone he came in contact with. He touched the lives of many in countless ways and his humbleness and neighborly disposition will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Arnold Jones officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the memorial service.
