Cecil Evans Spradling Jr.

CECIL EVANS SPRADLING, 80, of Moneta formerly of Christiansburg passed away on May 17, 2023. He was retired from Norfolk and Southern railroad. Cecil had a strong inclination to seeing people led to the Lord. He was a part of a strong prison ministry team and was a member at Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Cecil was preceded in death by his, wife, Elizabeth Allen Spradling; parents, Cecil Spradling Sr. and Elsie Spradling; and sister, Nancy Brown.

Surviving are his sister, Cecelia Cole and husband, Vonley; brother, Jerry Spradling and wife, Debra; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
