Charlie Tickle, 93, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, leaving, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and craftsmanship. A devoted family man, Charlie was known for his giving spirit, humble heart, and unwavering ability to see the positives in life.
Born on May 17, 1931, Charlie found joy in the simple things- tending to his garden, sharing stories that brought laughter and wisdom, and, most of all, his passion for woodworking and carpentry. With skilled hands and a creative mind, he built not just furniture but also lasting memories for those he loved. His dedication to his craft was a reflection of his life-carefully shaped, full of purpose, and meant to bring joy to others.
Charlie's warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him. Whether thorough his handcrafted treasures, his encouraging words, or the way he made each person feel valued, he left a mark on the hearts of many.
A celebration of life will be held on April 26th from 2:00-5:00 pm at Harbor of Hope Church 2720 Roanoke St Christiansburg VA. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the beautiful life he lived. Light refreshments will be provided.
Charlie's love, wisdom, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those he cherished.
