Gearheart, Charlotte Patrick, 90 of Christiansburg, VA, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 25, 2010.
She was born December 19, 1919 a daughter to the late Warren H. Patrick and Ruby Jones Patrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband; George W. (Bill) Gearheart, Sr., two brothers; Warren H. Patrick, Jr. and Don Patrick.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Bill Gearheart and wife Dianne of Jacksonville, FL, Tim Gearheart and wife Terri of Christiansburg. She is also survived by her sister, Jenny Kingrea of Blacksburg. She is survived by her grandchildren, Danita Brooks and husband Dale Brooks of Jacksonville, FL. and Whitney Gearheart of Christiansburg; three great grandchildren, Gaby, Noah and Aly Brooks also of Jacksonville, FL., and special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad or Christiansburg Fire Department. The family would like to thank the staff of Showalter Center, Heritage Hall and Montgomery Regional Hospital for their dedication and loving care they gave to our mother during her stay.
