Charlsie Ann Linkous

Charlsie Ann Linkous went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 5, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Charlsie was a longtime member of Belmont Christian Church. Even in sickness, her wonderful smile could light up a room. She especially loved children.

Her parents, Milton and Bessie Nolen and husband, Robert Linkous, and brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Juanita Nolen, preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rose Mary Putnam, Rebecca Kakaley (Russ) and Mark Linkous (Dee) and her sister, Kathern Anthony (Lee). She had nine grandchildren, Jon, Angela (Kevin), Daniel (Elizabeth), Andrew, Christian, Jessica (Austin) , Samantha, Blake and Joshua; two great grandchildren, Damon and Lilly.

The family would like to thank her angels on earth who took care of her as she battled Parkinson's Disease: Lucy Turner, Shannon Custer, Tammy Sheppard, Kathy Hypes, Suzy Hamilton and Katherine Verity. The family also extends a special thanks to her neurologist, Dr. Jill Cramer for extraordinary respect and expert care she gave to Charlsie.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:30 pm on Friday, June 9th at Belmont Christian Church. Funeral Services will begin at 4:30 pm with Rev. Jerry Dowdy officiatinag. Interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery.
