Charmayne Groff Buehler, 85, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Miller Groff and Mary Young Groff; brother, Harvey Miller Groff Jr.; sisters, Sharada Allen and Thalia Harris.
Charmayne is survived by her husband, Fred Buehler Jr. (just celebrated 65 years of marriage); children, JoAnn Pierce (Bob) of Christiansburg, Cathy Rae of Anthem, AZ, and Timothy J. Buehler (Peggy) of Crewe, VA; granddaughters, Jessica Schwartz (Justin), Jamie Stutzer (Billy), Marissa Pierce; four great-grandchildren, Rylen Stutzer, Elise Stutzer, Evan Schwartz, and Alaina Schwartz.
Charmayne was born in Washington, NJ and was a former Township Clerk and business owner of Charmayne’s Dry Cleaning and Tailoring in Blairstown, NJ, where they lived for 48 years before moving to Christiansburg. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and was a very talented tailor for many people over the years. She also loved to knit and crochet. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Blairstown, NJ and graduated from Belvidere High School in Belvidere, NJ in 1950.
