Christopher Brian Johnson, 41, of Blacksburg, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012.
He was born on July 30, 1971. He is survived by his daughter, Amber Lane Johnson of Roanoke; his mother, Pamela Perkinson Johnson; father & step-mother, Jere Lane & Jo Irwin Johnson; sister, Sheri Lane Smith; niece, Delaney Smith; nephew, Sullivan Lane Smith; brother-in-law, Dewayne Smith of Knoxville, TN; uncles, Jim Perkinson & wife Sandy, and Don P. Johnson & wife Gayle of Massachusetts; and aunt, Sandra McDowell & husband Vernon, of Christiansburg.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16th at 11 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dan Netting officiating.
In lieu flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Christiansburg Volunteer Rescue Squad, 10 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
