Clarence Monroe Lucadoo, 71, of Christiansburg, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Ruby Luckadoo; brother, Sam; and sisters, Becky and Mildred. He is survived by his wife, Marie Lovern Luckadoo; daughters, Melinda Boone and husband Reno, Shanan Sweeney and husband Randy, Tina Roy and husband Ben, Betty Moore and husband Jamie, Dianna Peters and husband James, Donna Straley and husband Charles; step-daughter, Angie Harris and husband Tony; grandchildren, Angel Fuller, Joshua Trump, Matthew Barker, Travis Barker, Benjamin Roy Jr, Timothy Roy, Elizabeth Moore, Beverly Moore, Abigail Peters, Daniel Peters, Abigail Peters, Daniel Peters, Troy Martin, Cierra Martin, Dylan Colley, Krista Colley; great-grandchildren, Jordin Byrd, Maddie Byrd, Kenry K. Trump, Breccan Trump; and sister, Lorraine Chafin. Butch is also survived by special friend, Patty Berry; special nurse, Brenda Epperly; and loving cat, Tabby.
Butch had a great love for music, especially Bluegrass gospel. He played numerous instruments but was especially fond of his guitar. He often played and sang at his church and loved to share his joy for music with his family.
His wife and love of his life would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Roanoke Memorial 10th Floor ICU. They will always old a special place in her heart.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. Josh Graham, Rev.
