Clifford Carlton Grimes

Clifford Carlton. Grimes Sr., 75, of Pilot, formally of Columbus Ga., passed away Friday January 9, 2015. Born on November 7. 1939, to the late Oather S. Grimes and Mary Lou Phillips, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Grimes Pulliam; brothers, Earl Grimes and Cecil Grimes.
He is survived by ex-wife, Elsie M. Grimes; son, Clifford C. Grimes Jr.; daughter, Christine L. Grimes; son-in-law, Shane Ledford; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jackie Mayes and husband, Jerry, and Joan Whitehurst; as well as one brother, Ovid S. Grimes.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, from 10 - 11 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will commence at 11 a.m. in the Chapel, with Rev. Buford Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery, Floyd.
