Our momma loved to sew, crochet, garden, and work in her flowers. She loved her family, her church family from Cedar Springs Union Church, and she loved sharing her memories from the past. We appreciate everyone who has visited with her and shared those things with her.
Thank you very much to those who selflessly helped us to care for her: Connie Helm, Sharon Wood, Carolyn Ratcliffe, Tammy Hall, Loretta Underwood, Juanita Sanson, Tenna Saunders, and Penny Adkins. She enjoyed your company and we knew she was well cared for.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, Christiansburg, VA, with Rev. Neal Turner and Rev. Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow in the Huffville Cemetery.
