Conway William Smith

Conway William Smith, 87 of Elliston, VA, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. He was born October 1, 1929 in Waynesboro, VA to the late Burham Brown and Ida Pauline Akers Smith. Conway served in the United States Air Force and was a longtime truck driver.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diane Loar Smith; children: Kathy Smith, Karen Quesenberry, Pam Harmon-Criner (Larry), Tina Harris, Brian Smith (Susan), Renee Smith, Terry McGuyer, and Lisa Sparbel (Robert); 15 Grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and brother, Calvin Smith (Bonnie).

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm and a graveside service will be conducted by Joey Lyons at 2:00 pm in Boyds Chapel Family Cemetery in Giles.
