Daniel Lee Hopkins

Daniel Lee Hopkins (Danny), 74, of Blacksburg, VA passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Martz and father, John Henry Hopkins. He is survived by his longtime companion, Margaret (Jean) Horton; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Joyce Hopkins, Rodney and Laura Southern; daughter, Celeste Daniels; stepdaughter and son -in-law, Betina and Steve McGuire; grandchildren, Rachel Reed, Braxton and Brandon Southern, and Jordan Daniels; as well as special friends, Don Thompson and Carl Godbey.
Danny was a lifetime drywall man who enjoyed outdoors and fishing.
The family would like to thank the ICU at Montgomery Lewis Gale for their help and compassion.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Friday March 12, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Richard Hall officiating.
