David Barker

BARKER, David Daniel 83 of Christiansburg passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife; Juanita Sumler Barker and son, Gary Ray Barker.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law; Donna and Mike Dickerson, Brenda and Tommy Early, sons and daughters-in-law; David Wayne and Helen Barker and Donnie and Linda Barker. He is also survived by his grandchildren and spouses Tommy and Kim Early, Pilot, Michael and Kendall Early of PA, Darrick Early, Danville, Kimberly Dickerson of Christiansburg, Kerri and Gary Barker of Fairlawn, one sister; Joyce Hutchison, special friend; Mary Nelson, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
