Seymour, Pastor David E., age 62, of Lower Paxton Township, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009.
He was born on March 12, 1947 in Fitchburg, MA to the late Albert and Persis (Glidden) Seymour. A US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a Pastor with and member of Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara J. (Ratcliffe) Seymour; a son, Matthew R. Seymour of Harrisburg, PA; a daughter, Ashley A. Felix and husband, Richie, Watsontown, PA; his twin brother, Dan Seymour and wife, Sue of South Lancaster, MA; sisters, Connie Seymour, Worcester, MA, Beverly Lance of Roanoke, VA, Norma Niemi and husband, Paul of Fitzwilliam, NH, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Dorothy Ratcliffe of Pilot, VA; a granddaughter, Peyton Felix and two step grandsons, Billy and Jacob Felix.
Memorial contributions in Pastor David’s Honor may be made to Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 424 North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17109. The family will receive friends Monday, April 27th, from 1 until 2 pm at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, VA. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, VA.
