CUSTER DEBRA KAREN DUNCAN, age 54,of Christiansburg, passed from this life to her eternal reward in Heaven on Wednesday, November 14, 2007.
She was a fifteen year employee of Cracker Barrel, Christiansburg, where she loved her job, co-workers and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Earnest Duncan; her grandparents, John Henry and Mary Alpha Duncan, Hollace McKinley and India Belle Dickerson; a special uncle, Curtis Duncan and a special friend, Kim Metcalf.
Surviving are her husband, Randall Custer, Sr.; her mother and step-father, Emma and Pop Lee “Elbert Lee Reed”, Riner; son, Jason Honaker and wife, Becky, Blacksburg; daughters, Amy Smith and husband, Kyle, Jessica “Jessi” Honaker and fiancée, Chris Sutphin all of Christiansburg; step son, Randall Custer, Jr. and wife, Rhonda, Giles County; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Tailor Honaker, Miranda, Justin and Kaleigh Smith, Faith Sutphin, Heather, Cydney, Katy and Bailey Custer; brother, Darrell Duncan; sister, Claudia Burton; mother-in-law, Frances "Nannie" Pettus; former husband, Daniel Honaker, Christiansburg; special niece, Emily Conley; special aunt, Beulah Harrison and special friend, Mabel “Tootie” Custer.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Friday at the New Hope Church of God, Mudpike Road, Christiansburg, VA. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the New Hope Church of God conducted by Pastor T. Michael Bond and Rev. David Hurd with interment to follow in Belmont Cemetery.
