Delma J. Fisher died March 4, 2015, at age 81 in Crozet, Virginia. Delma was born in Kogerah, Australia. After raising five children in Australia, she moved to Green Bank, West Virginia then to Crozet, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Percival Stacey, and siblings, Dot and Harry. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Rick. She is also survived by five dear children: David, Dawn, Debbie, Douglas, and Deveron. She has four grand-children: Karissa, Ben, Alex, and Vaughan and five great-grandchildren: Sarah, Emily, Oliver, Abigail, and Lily. Delma's move to Green Bank was made especially welcoming by her sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Russ and her late mother-in-law, Betty Fisher.
Delma enjoyed knitting, sewing, global travels, and loving her cats.
The family extends their gratitude to the entire staff of The Lodge at Old Trail, Crozet, Virginia for the gracious care provided during the last year.
A private burial will be held at the Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet.
