Deloris Irene 'Dee' Rodgers

Deloris Irene ‘Dee’ Rodgers, age 78 of Christiansburg, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017. She was born to the late Vernon Foster and Frieda Belt on October 22, 1939. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Rodgers.

Dee is survived by her daughter, Michelle Rodgers-Guill; son, Daniel Rodgers and wife Kelly of Fargo, ND; two grandchildren, Danny and Dara; and great-granddaughter, Maria.

Dee was a long time resident of San Bernandino, CA until the age of 29. She worked at Cracker Barrel in Christiansburg, which she loved for the past 17 plus years.

She loved and enjoyed dancing, shopping and hanging out with her good friends. Most of all she loved the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed going to the Harbor of Hope Church in Christiansburg and the preaching of Pastor Craig Reed.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. The Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Craig Reed officiating.
