Dennis Allen Morris

Dennis Allen Morris, 78 passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his home in Radford, VA. He was an elder in the Christiansburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Dennis moved his family from Florida to Christiansburg in 1975 where he worked in several Car Dealerships in the area and ran his own business Christiansburg Body Shop before retiring from Volvo Truck Plant in 2011. He loved to spend time with his family and was always ready to help out fixing cars or building something. He loved Studebaker cars, fishing and golf. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Beulah Morris; a sister, Faye Holm and her husband John Holm; a nephew, Jeffery Holm.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sandra Burton Morris; three children, Kim McKinnie and spouse Owen McKinnie of Radford, Tabitha Morris of North Carolina, Jason Morris and spouse Erna Morris of New York; two grandchildren, Morgan Adcox, and Alex Kim of North Carolina. 

The family would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Medi Home Hospice. Especially to Zeb Shrader RN who gave his time and energy to support Dennis and his family. Also, to nurse Kim Thomas and Judy Tuttle and the many aids that helped out during the last 6 months. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Christiansburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
