Donald Lee "Grubworm" Grubb, 59, of Christiansburg passed away February 8, 2014. Donald retired from the VA Dept. of Transportation with 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delta Lee Grubb Jr. & Louise Graham Grubb.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda B Grubb; son, Richard Lee Grubb; daughter, Hannah Nicole Grubb; step daughter, Tiffany Hamlin; step son,Derrek D Davis; granddaughter Alyssa Grubb; grandson, Justin Grubb; brother & sister-in-law, Tommie & Cindy Grubb; niece, Priscilla & Greg Holliday and two very close and special friends, Gary Davis & Benny Cunningham.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10 from 5 til 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 11 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
