Donald Huffman

HUFFMAN, DONALD REEVES, age 77, of Pembroke and formerly of the Newport Level Green Community passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Giles Memorial Hospital.
He was a veteran having served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Level Green Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorsey and Rettie D. Huffman and two sisters, Hazel Porterfield and Frances Echols.
Survivors include special friend and companion, Dolly Weiss; her children Rita Young and Brenda & Sam Cheatwood; niece, Jannie Sue Keffer and husband, Alton; nephews, Ronnie D. Echols and wife, Cathy and Connie William Echols; grand niece, Shontia Echols; and grand nephew, Travis Echols.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 21 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Level Green Cemetery, Craig County. The Huffman Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
