Donna L. Taylor, 53 of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her father, Millard Taylor. She is survived by her mother, Jane Taylor; sisters, Pat & Ron Nolen, Shirley Groseclose, Karen & John McCoy, and Mary Taylor & Gary Brewer; nieces and nephews, Kastina & Alan Rowell, Jessica & Dallas Malone, Barrett & Katie Nolen, Kayla Groseclose, and Kelsie Groseclose; as well as 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
Donna was employed at Virginia Tech Financial Aid Department for 27 years, and was a lifelong member of Belmont Christian Church.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Harry McCoy, and the nurses on the second floor at Lewis Gale-Montgomery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 26th at 2 p.m. at Belmont Christian Church, with Ministers Jim Bayne, Beaver Terry, and Jerry Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106-A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
