Dorothy Epperly Jones

Dorothy Epperly Jones, 90, of Pilot, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was born on October 21, 1926 to the late Lonza and Myrtle Epperly. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Epperly; sister, Edna McFarland; and granddaughter, Michelle Collins.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 73 years, Roy Jones; son, Clinton Jones; daughter, Sandra Manning and husband Ersel; grandchild, Casey Jones and wife Laurie; three great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Epperly and wife Dolly; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
