ADLAM, EDWARD THOMAS, age 42, of Christiansburg, VA, formerly of Nashville, TN and Winterhaven, FL, passed away Monday, May 2, 2005.
Ed was born on January 3, 1963 in Rochester, NY. He was a beloved life partner, uncle, brother, friend to many, and son. A graduate of Florida State University, he also achieved his lifetime goal of an MBA at Vanderbilt University. He was the owner of Spinnakers Restaurants in Columbus, OH, Charlotte, NC, and Radford, VA; president elect of the Radford Chamber of Commerce; and a member of the Radford Rotary.
He leaves to cherish his memory his life partner, Paul Hotsinpiller of Christiansburg; his parents, Thomas E. & Mary Ellen Adlam of FL; brothers, Timothy Adlam of Fort Meade, FL; Robert Adlam of Las Vegas, Nevada; his sisters, Theresa Adlam of Orlando, FL; Mary Beth Nelson of Winterhaven, FL; Margaret Hogan of Columbus, OH; Laura Voskevitch of Lake Mary, FL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 P.M. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jonathan S. Webster officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Unity of Roanoke Valley Church, c/o Peru Mission Trip, 3300 Green Ridge Road; Roanoke, VA 24019.
